Our Story
30+ Years of Creative Innovation
Artiol Technology was founded by Charlie Herrick — an entrepreneur with over three decades spanning fine arts, graphic design, multimedia production, and technology innovation.
What started as a creative practice has evolved into a full-spectrum studio that builds software, apps, and hardware. Based in Baltimore, MD, we combine deep artistic sensibility with rigorous engineering to build products and services that genuinely improve how people live, work, and create.
Across projects spanning software, hardware, and design, we have the range to take an idea from napkin sketch to shipped product — starting with our own, like MIDI Sketch.
